Strawberry Soup for Shavouth - dairy

 Serves 6

 1 quart fresh strawberries
 2 cups water
 1 cup orange juice
 1/2 6 oz. can frozen apple or cherry juice
 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
 1/2 cup sweet red wine
 2 Tbs. cornstarch dissolved in 1/8 cup water
 1 cup plain yogurt or sour cream (low or non-fat may be used)

In pot combine strawberries (save 6 for garnish) and remaining ingredients
(except cornstarch and yogurt or sour cream). Cover and bring to boil; reduce
heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir dissolved cornstarch into simmering
mixture until slightly thickened. May be pureed in blender if desired. Chill
thoroughly. When ready to serve, stir in yogurt or sour cream.
