Compote for Ice Cream - pareve

2 cups apple juice
2 cinnamon sticks
2 whole cloves
2 tart apples, peeled, cored and chopped
2 ripe pears, peeled, cored and chopped
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
2 navel oranges, peeled and sectioned
1 cup seedless green grapes

In a medium saucepan combine apple juice, cinnamon sticks, cloves,
apples and pears. Simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 15
minutes.

Let mixture cool slightly, then add orange juice, oranges and grapes.
Remove cloves and cinnamon sticks. Serve fruit warm over ice cream.

Makes 8 servings.
