servea 4

3/4 pound sharp cheddar cheese -- cut in pieces
6 slices white bread
                   butter
1 1/2 cups milk
4 eggs
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp prepared mustard -- (or more)

With the metal blade in place, add the cheese to the beaker. Process,
turning on and off rapidly, until evenly chopped. Spread bread slices
with butter and cut in pieces. Add the buttered bread, milk, eggs,
paprika, salt and mustard to the cheese in the beaker. Process until
thoroughly blended, about 30 seconds. Pour mixture into a buttered
2-quart casserole and bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 45 minutes
or until pudding is set. Serve warm as a light entree.
