Some friends recommended this book and I recently ordered MIRIAM'S KITCHEN from Amazon...It is not exactly a cookbook although it has recipes...how can I describe it?? If any of you remembers a Bubbe in your house, who was born in Europe or Russia and remembers the smells and sounds of that kitchen and the delicious food that appeared then this book is for you...in just the first few chapters, my memories of my Bubbe's kitchen returned...I am ordering a copy for each of my daughters (and that includes my daughter in law... What a treasure...
