1 4-lb. beef brisket
2 pkg. onion soup mix
3 potatoes, quartered
3 carrots, cut into 2" pieces
3 celery stalks, cut into 2" pieces
2 onions, quartered (optional)
3 - 4 cups water
Place frozen beef brisket into a deep pan. Mix onion soup and water
together and pour over meat. Arrange potatoes, onions, carrots and, celery
around brisket. Cover very tightly (with foil or lid from pan) and cook for
3 hours (or until tender) at 325 degrees. Let stand for 20 - 30 minutes
before cutting to assure that meat will cut nicely.
