Chick Peas, Sweet: Nahit/Arbes #1 - pareve

This should be easy to make.  I prefer to cook my own and serve them a
little less soft and salty than the canned ones.

Soak chickpeas in water overnight (or bring to a boil, turn off heat and
let sit for at least an hour.

Boil the chickpeas in plenty of water. I like to add a little soy sauce
and parve chicken bullion powder to the cooking water.

When they are done to your taste, drain and sprinkle well with freshly
ground black pepper.
