Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes
From "Recipes You Can Bank On" (1984)
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup
1/2 cup milk
1/4 tsp. pepper
8 cups thinly sliced potatoes
1 cups thinly sliced onions
2 cups shredded cheese (chedddar or Velveeta)
2 Tbl. butter
Paprika
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Combine soup, milk, and pepper.
Arrange layers of potatoes, onions, cheese, and soup. Dot with butter.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Cover and bake for 1 hour. Uncover and bake 15 more minutes.
Pan size: 2-1/2-quart shallow.
Yield: 6 servings
