Ronnie's Potato Soup 
4 cups diced potatoes 
1 cup sliced celery 
1 cup chopped onions 
2 to 3 cups water 
2 to 3 teaspoons salt 
1/2 stick butter (4 Tbls.) 
1 cup milk 
1 cup cream 
1 Tbls. parsley, chopped 
1/2 to 1 teaspoon caraway seeds 
pepper to taste 
Peel and dice potatoes.  
 
Add to a large pot.  
Add celery, onion and water and cook until tender, about 20 minutes. 
When done, mash vegetables with a masher, leaving small chunks.  
 
Stir in the milk, cream, parsley, caraway seeds and pepper to taste.  
 
Add the butter and continue to heat on medium flame until melted. 
*Optional: dice and fry bacon until crispy and garnish soup with bacon bits.
