Cranberry Sauce with Port 
  
1 bag (12 oz/3 cups) cranberries 
1 cup Port wine 
3/4 cup sugar 
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon 
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg 
1/8 tsp. ground cloves 
In 2 quart. saucepan, heat all ingredients to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to med. and cook, uncovered until most cranberries pop. (5-8 min.), stirring occasionally. (Mixture will thicken as it cools) Spoon into serving bowl; cover and refrigerate until well chilled, 3 hours or up to 4 days. Makes about 2 cups.
