Cherry Tomatoes with Garlic and Basil

14 cherry tomatoes -- cut in half 
1 tsp. olive oil 
3 cloves garlic -- chopped 
6 basil leaves -- a chiffonade 
salt and freshly ground black pepper -- to taste 
Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.  When hot, add oil and garlic.  Saute for 1 minute; do not brown.
 
Add tomatoes.   Saute until lightly browned.  
 
Add basil and parsley, salt and pepper and stir until heated
through.
