Gelatin: Buttermilk Salad

Buttermilk Salad

1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple; well drained save juice
1 (6 oz.) pkg. apricot gelatin
2 cups buttermilk
8 ozs. whipped topping
1 cup chopped pecans


Bring the pineapple juice, and gelatin to a boil in saucepan, stirring frequently, till gelatin is dissolved and mixed well. Let cool.

Combine the gelatin mixture, buttermilk, and pineapple in a bowl and stir until well blended. Fold in whipped topping.. Stir in the pecans. Spoon into a 9x13 inch dish. Chill covered for 8 hours or till set.

May use any flavor gelatin.
