Pina Colada Fruit Salad

1 small pineapple or 2 (15 1/4 oz.) cans -- drained pineapple chunks 
2 cups strawberries -- halved 
1 small papaya -- peeled, seeded, and cut into bit-size pieces 
1/2 cup pina colada drink mix (contains no alcohol) 
3 T. light rum 
1/8 t. cinnamon 
1 dash ground cloves -- optional 
2 kiwi -- peeled and sliced 
In a large bowl, combine cubed pineapple, strawberries, and papaya. 
In a small bowl, stir together pnia colada drink mix, rum, cinnamon, and if desired, cloves; pour over fruit. 
Cover and chill in fridge for 1 to 4 hours, gently stirring occasionally. 
Before serving, transfer to a serving bowl. Gently stir in kiwifruit slices. 
Makes 8 side-dish servings
