Hot Sweet-Sour Bacon Dressing 
1/3 lb. bacon
4 cups water
1/4 cup vinegar
7 rounded tbl. sugar
2 tbl. flour
2 eggs
1 cup water
Cook bacon and pour off most of the fat.  Add 4 cups water and vinegar.
In a bowl, mix sugar, flour, eggs and 1 cup water.  Beat with a whisk until smooth.
Bring first mixture in skillet to a boil.  Gradually stir in the egg mixture and continue stirring as you cook it until it thickens.  Thin with more water, if necessary.
 Good on spinach salad or to make a hot slaw.
 
Note:  Crumble some of the cooked bacon up and add to the salad also.
