Coleslaw  
1 cup sugar 
1 cup oil 
1 cup vinegar 
1 tsp. mustard seed 
1 tsp. celery seed 
1 tsp. salt 
1/2 red onion, diced 
1 green pepper, diced 
3 1/2 quarts shredded cabbage 
Mix sugar, oil and vinegar in a saucepan.  Bring to a boil and then set aside to cool completely.  
 
Mix with other ingredients and then store in a sealed container. 
Serves 8.
