Sweet 'n' Sour Bean Salad 
1 (16-ounce) can diagonal cut green beans 
1/2 cup cider vinegar 
1/2 cup sugar 
1 teaspoon celery seeds 
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard 
1 (8-ounce) can diagonal-cut wax beans, drained 
1 medium-size onion, sliced and separated into rings 
1 tablespoon chopped green pepper 
1 tablespoon chopped red sweet pepper 
Boston lettuce cups 
Drain the green beans and place liquid in a saucepan. Add the vinegar, sugar, celery seeds and mustard to the pan. Bring to a boil. 
Put the green beans, wax beans, onion rings, green pepper and red pepper in a two-quart bowl or container and pour boiling vinegar mixture over. 
Cover and chill. Drain; then serve in Boston lettuce cups. 
Yield: about six servings
