Taste of Home Country Cooking Recipe Collection, Vol. 2, 1997. 
Speedy Bean Salad 
3/4 cup sugar 
2/3 cup vinegar 
1/3 cup vegetable oil 
1 teaspoon salt 
Dash pepper 
1 can (15 ounces) garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained 
1 can (15 1/2 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained 
1 can (15 ounces) great northern beans, rinsed and drained 
1/2 medium onion, chopped 
1/2 cup chopped green pepper 
In a bowl, combine sugar, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper. Stir in all remaining ingredients. Let marinate until serving time. Yield: 6 servings
