Creamy Walnut Rice

1 pkg. MJB Herb and Butter Long Grain and Wild Rice Mix 
2 Tbl. butter or margarine 
1/4 cup chopped onion 
1 clove garlic, minced 
1 pkg. (9 oz.) frozen green beans, thawed 
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup 
1/2 cup milk 
1/2 cup toasted walnuts, coarsely chopped 
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 

Prepare Rice mix according to pkg. directions. 

Saute onion and garlic in butter, or saute in just water until veggies
are limp,to lower the fat content.
Add beans, soup, milk and simmer 10 minutes. 

Just before serving, stir in walnuts and cheese.

Place cooked rice in serving dish and top with sauce.

Garnish with additional walnuts, if desired.

Makes 4 to 6 servings.
