Chicken and Dumplings

3 chicken breasts, cut into strips
1/8 tsp salt and pepper each
1 tsp oil
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 tsp marjoram
1 (15 oz) can chicken broth
1 medium onion sliced
1 cup fresh green beans, cleaned and halved
1 cup sliced carrots
1 2/3 cups reduced fat biscuit mix
1/3 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup milk

Heat oil in large skillet.

Season chicken with salt and pepper and mix.

Stir fry until chicken is just cooked through.

Sprinkle with flour and marjoram over chicken and stir to coat.

Add broth, onion, carrots, green beans. Reduce heat, cover with a tight sealing lid and cook for 5 minutes.

In a medium bowl combine biscuit mix, cornmeal, cheese and stir in milk to make dough.

Drop dough by large spoonsful on top of chicken mixture.

Cover pan again and cook an additional 10 minutes. Do not lift lid.
