Chicken Casserole 
1 1/2 cups long grain rice 
1 1/2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms 
3 pounds meaty chicken pieces 
1 (10 3/4 ounce) condensed cream of onion soup or (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed french onion soup 
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup 
1 1/4 cups water 
1 envelope regular onion soup mix 
Preheat oven to 375° F.
In 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish or pan, layer the rice and mushrooms with the the chicken pieces. 
In a bowl, combine the condensed soups, water and dry onion soup mix. 
Pour the mixture over the chicken. Cover tightly with foil. 
Bake in 375 degress oven for 1 3/4 to 2 hours or til the rice is tender and chicken is done. 
Makes 6 servings
