Baked Chicken and Gravy

3 1/2 pounds chicken fryer pieces
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 cup onions
7 ounces canned mushrooms drained
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon crazy mixed up salt

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Melt butter and place in a 13" x 9".

Rinse chicken under cold water. Coat with flour. Lay skin side down in pan. Bake uncovered at 425 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn chicken and bake 15 more minutes.

In a skillet saute onions. Stir in mushrooms, milk, soup, cheese, and crazy mixed up. Set aside until chicken is done. Remove chicken from oven. Pour off fat.

Reduce heat to 325 degrees. Pour gravy over chicken. Cover with foil and bake 15 -20 more minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes.
