Pecan Pie

3/4 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbsp margarine
1 tbsp flour
1 cup pecan halves
1 unbaked pie shell (9 inch)
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla
Cool Whip®, thawed


Preheat oven to 350° F.

Bring syrup, sugar, margarine, and flour to a boil in saucepan on medium heat. Boil gently 2 minutes, uncovered, stirring occasionally. Cool slightly.

Place pecans in pastry shell.

Mix eggs and vanilla in medium bowl. Gradually stir in cooled syrup mixture. Pour over pecans.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until knife insert comes out clean.

Serve with Cool whip.
