Plum tart

5 eggs beaten
1 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon salt

Heat 2 tablespoons shortening in a 9x13 pan at 375 till very hot. Pour in batter, top with halved Italian prune plums (or cherries). Bake 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle with sugar.(Cinnamon optional)

Yeast Bublanina

1 teaspoon salt
1 cake yeast
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup milk, scalded
1 egg
1 tablespoon fat
2 cups flour

Blend first 4 ingredients and let sit for 20 minutes. Add remaining ingredients.Mix to a soft dough and let rise till double. Spread in a lightly greased 9x13 pan and let rise until light. Cover with Italian plum halves, cut side down. Mix some sugar, flour and butter till crumbly. Sprinkle over all. Bake at 400 about 25 minutes.
