Pork Chop Scallop

6 to 8 pork chops, 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick
1 tsp. salt
2 cups water
2 medium carrots, thinly sliced (about 1 cup)
1 package frozen Italian green beans (10 oz.)
2 Tbsp. oleo
1 package scalloped potatoes (5.5 oz.)
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup
2/3 cup milk
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. Worchestershire sauce


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Brown pork chops in skillet, sprinkle with salt.

Heat water to boiling, add carrots and green beans. Heat to boiling again, stir in butter, potatoes and sauce.

Mix soup, milk, basil and Worchestershire sauce together. Stir into the vegetable mixture.

Pour the vegetables into a 9X13 baking dish. place the browned chops on top. Bake covered 45 minutes at 350. Uncover and bake 15 minutes more.
