1/2 tsp anise oil
1 cup anise sugar with seeds
2 cups flour
3/4 cup butter, melted and cooled
In a large bowl you can beat by hand or with a hand mixer, combine the eggs and while beating, add the anise oil and sugar, beat until smooth and light, several minutes.
Stir in the flour and then gently add the butter so it doesn't splatter everywhere. Drop onto a preheated pizzelle iron and bake until done, this will vary with every iron. The yield varies with every iron as well.
