Frozen Fruit Dessert

1 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups water
1 can crushed pineapple
1 (15 oz.) can pineapple tidbits
1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade
1 qt. fresh strawberries (or 2 boxes frozen)
1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice
3 or 4 fresh bananas, sliced


Dissolve sugar in water. Mix all together and freeze in pint containers. Served thawed only until slushy. Keep lemonade and orange juice undiluted.

1 large can pears
1 large can peaches
1 medium can drained crushed pineapple
3 to 4 bananas, cut in small pieces
1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade concentrate
1 (12 oz.) can frozen orange juice
1 (16 oz.) bottle ginger ale
maraschino cherries
fresh strawberries


Can use all sugar-free fruit and sugar-free ginger ale. Drain and cut pears and peaches into very small pieces.

Add in order: pineapple, bananas, lemonade concentrate and frozen orange juice. Mix the ingredients and pour ginger ale over the mixture. Pour into individual containers (4 ounce
Dixie cups) and freeze, about 20 minutes before serving, set out and partially thaw. Stir until slushy. Top with cherry and strawberry.
