Kiffels

1 large block of cream cheese
2 sticks of butter or margarine
3 cups of flour
1 jar pie filling (prune, apricot, cherry)
1/2 cup Powdered Sugar

Blend with a hand mixer Butter, and cream cheese. Then add flour and mix in with bare hands. Knead until well blended.

Roll into 2-1/2" balls. There will probably be 6 to 8 to one batch. Put them in a bowl and cover them with foil and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Roll out the dough with flour and cut into 8ths with a pasta wheel. Put a half teaspoon of fruit filling on each 1/8th and manually roll them into a crescent, and place on cookie sheet.(Use a regular cookie sheet not an even bake). Put in a pre-heated oven set to 350 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes when bottoms are golden they are done. Let cool, then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
