Maryland Crab Casserole

1 lb. crab meat
1 medium onion, diced
20 to 25 crackers, crushed fine
1 egg

1/2 stick margarine
1 to 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
dash of parsley flakes
salt and pepper to taste
3/4 Tbsp. crab season or Old Bay
Cheddar cheese

Mix onion, crackers and egg together in bowl; add crab meat and set aside while making sauce.

Sauce: In small saucepan, melt margarine; add milk, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, salt and pepper, crab season and flour. Stir until thick. Pour over crab mixture and mix well. Press lightly into buttered casserole dish. Top with shredded Cheddar cheese and bake at 350 degrees until cheese melts and casserole is crunchy around edges (15 to 20 minutes).
