Beef Noodle Bake

Beef Mixture:

2 lbs ground round
1 large onion, chopped
1 large green pepper, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
2 8-ounce cans tomato sauce

Noodle Mixture:

8 ounces medium noodles or other pasta, cooked and drained.
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup sour cream
8 ounces cream cheese, very soft
1 Tablespoon poppy seeds

Grated Parmesan cheese, to taste

Brown beef, onion, and bell pepper with salt and pepper. Drain and return to skillet.

Add tomato sauce.

Combine hot noodles, cottage cheese, sour cream, cream cheese and poppy seeds, stirring until smooth and creamy.

Layer noodle mixture in a greased casserole with beef mixture.

Bake covered with foil for 30 minutes.

Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes or until heated through.

Add grated Parmesan after removing foil.
