Cherry Coffee Cake

1 c. oleo
3 c. flour
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 t. baking powder
4 eggs 1/4 t. salt
1 t. vanilla

Cream oleo, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder and salt.

Spread 2/3 of the dough in a 10x15 inch pan. Spread on 1 can of cherry pie filling.

Spoon the remaining dough evenly over the top, in small dollops.

Bake at 350 degrees until the top is a nice light brown. When you touch it with your finger, it will feel firm.

I put a powdered sugar glaze on top after it cools.
