Stuffing/Dressing: Stuffing by jeanndan

1 large bag Arnold Herb Seasoned Stuffing, or other seasoned stuffing mix
6 slices of toasted and shredded bread slices
3 tbs. butter
1 cup water
1/2 cups apple or cranberry juice
1/2 can chicken broth
1 lb. mild sausage
1 lg. diced onion
1 cup diced celery
4 apples, cut into small pieces
1 eggs, beaten

Brown sausage, drain, and set aside.

Saute onion and celery with butter. Add to dry stuffing until mixture to blend. Add apple juice and beaten eggs. Don't overmix. Depending on how you are using it don't worry if it's slightly dry looking. If stuffing the turkey, the turkey will mositen it further. Use your own judgement in adding more juice or water.
