Honey Buns

6 tablespoons butter, divided
1/3 cup honey
1/2 cup very finely chopped pecans
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar, divided
2 cups biscuit mix
2/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Mix 4 tablespoons butter with honey. Using a muffin tin, melt then spread the mixture in the bottom of each individual muffin cup. Sprinkle each cup with chopped pecans.

Add 2 tablespoons sugar to biscuit mix. Mix in milk. Roll dough out on floured board to 9-by-12-inch rectangle. Melt remaining butter and brush over dough. Sprinkle with mixture of remaining sugar and cinnamon. Roll up like jelly role. Cut into 12 slices.

Place slices in muffin cups on top of honey-pecan mixture. Bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes.
