Bread Savory Dill and Parmesean

Savory Dill and Parmesean Bread (can freeze)

4 cups all purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder (yes one tablespoon)
1/4 cup dried onions
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 whole egg
2 cups milk
1 cup grated parmesean cheese
dill weed (LOTS of it)

Preheat oven to 350.

Combine all dry ingredients and mix well. Cut in shortening until pea sized crumbs are formed.

Mix together egg and milk. Stir into dry ingredients until moistened.

Pour into greased loaf pan. (Can make two smaller loaves.) Sprinkle VERY GENEROUSLY WITH CHEESE AND DILL.

Bake for approximately one hour.
