BEER BATTER (for Deep Fryin')

1 1/3 Cups All Purpose Flour (or self rising if possible)
1 Cup Beer (or as needed)
2 Lg Eggs.
1/4 Tsp Nutmeg.
Pinch Sugar.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine eggs, flour, nutmeg and sugar, mix until well blended.

Add beer slowly, continuing to stir until batter has a smooth consistency.

After batter is smooth, let it stand for 1 hour -- To let it RISE.

Pre-heat oil in deep fryer to cooking temperature.

Dip and swirl the food to be deep fried in the batter at least two times to assure proper coating.

When well coated with the batter drop into the deep fryer.

Cook until they rise to the surface and are GOLDEN BROWN.

** This is a TEMPURA type batter and can be used for Vegetables, Meats, Seafood, etc.
