Cheese Straws

1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. grated cheddar cheese
1/2 stick butter, softened

Preheat oven to 375.

Stir dry ingredients. Add cheese; mix well. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add enough cold water to make stiff dough. Turn onto floured surface.

Roll to 1/4" thickness. Cut into strips. Place on baking sheet. Bake until lightly browned.
