Beef: Teriyaki Steak by Nalani

Teriyaki Steak

1/4 cup shoyu sauce
3 teaspoons brown sugar, white or honey may be used instead
2 to 3 garlic cloves mashed
2 to 3 teaspoons grated ginger root or 1 teaspoons ground ginger
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup sherry or beef broth.

1 lb good grade steak cut into long narrow thin slices 2 inches long

Combine marinade ingredients and marinate steak approx 3 hours. Then Skewer on bamboo sticks

Broil over charcoal.
